CHARLES CLARY, III, FAIA

PRINCIPAL OF COUNSEL

Throughout his 40-year career, Charlie has contributed to the architectural profession; his efforts have been recognized by numerous professional service awards. He provides oversight of the firm’s education and civic projects including Pensacola State College, Gulf Coast State College and University of West Florida. In 1996, Charlie was elected to the Florida Senate and served for 10 years —the first architect ever to serve in the state senate. His efforts and dedication to public service continues today.

"Service has been a common thread in my background.  After several years of building my own architectural practice, I realized that politics played a significant role in nearly every aspect of both the design and build process.  I decided to run for office so I could discover for myself how the internal system influenced decisions and progress."
