The Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport the worlds busiest airport, accommodating more than 101,000,000 passengers and 880,000 flights annually. As a part of the Hartsfield-Jackson Design Collaborative (HJDC) joint venture, Fitzgerald Collaborative's interior design team created a fresh take on finishes and furnishings, visually dynamic quarter-points between traffic intersections, and interior integration with new curtainwall systems throughout. Inspired by the recent HJAIA International Concourse facility upgrade, the goal of the airside modernization is to introduce more natural daylight and visibility to the gate hold rooms while connecting each gate with a clean and cohesive ceiling profile.
