NIMS CAFETERIA REPLACEMENT

We are renovating 19,625 square feet at Nims Middle School to include a new cafeteria and surrounding space for students and staff. The new state-of-the-art cafeteria has a commercial kitchen, stage, covered outdoor dining area, and bus drop-off canopy.

A new security fence and legacy walk enhance the campus for students and staff while prioritizing their safety. The legacy walk provides a new front door for the school welcoming visitors, students, and staff as it circulates through the campus to the gymnasium. At the end of the legacy walk, visitors will arrive at a new gym lobby, ticket booth, concessions, and restrooms, with LED lighting and fire sprinkler protection.

Through this project, we have created a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere where student socialization can flourish in a safe and secure environment. The project included the demolition of three buildings and the development of a new stormwater facility on campus.
