SOUTH PARKING DECK (PHASE 1)

As part of a joint venture, we designed the South Parking Deck Phase 1 (SD1) at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport as a secure area that offers a comfortable and quick transition from automobile to airplane.

SD1 provides 6503 parking spaces over 7 levels with an open courtyard that incorporates a light well as a directional beacon for the traveler to understand wayfinding to elevators, escalators and stairs. It also provides a Zen Garden for a moment of tranquility before or after travel.

2% of parking is designated for Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and a pedestrian bridge crossing over the existing South Terminal Loop Road. SD1 will also include a Parking Manager's office, secure entry lobby, offices, and Command Center Operations rooms.
