We  designed Tallahassee State College’s new Solar Patio to be a welcoming space with weather protection for students while generating supplemental power to the campus.

The 8,942 square foot patio features a solar panel system above the facility and a canopy structure that creates shade and a space inviting students to interact, engage, and study. Exterior lighting, stormwater management, and other additions were included to ensure the patio remains an open and safe place for visitors.

This initial project has spurred additional solar panel projects throughout Tallahassee State College’s main campus.
